Biology
Students develop an understanding of the nature of life on our planet through lecture and laboratory, focusing on genetics, ecology, and evolution.

Earth Science
Students are acquainted with the major branches of Earth science: astronomy, geology, meteorology, and oceanography through lecture and laboratory experience.

Chemistry
Students will explore the structural properties as well as classifications of matter through lecture and laboratory experience.

Physics
Students obtain an understanding of the physical nature of matter and the mathematical principles that govern it.

Ecology
Students investigate the human organism and its impact on the environment through lecture and laboratory experience.

Environmental Science
Through lecture and laboratory experience, students investigate the relationships between geological processes and their effects on the environment as well as the relationships between the properties of matter and its composition.

Anatomy/Physiology (one semester)
Students focus on the micro and macro levels of biochemical processes, tissue interactions, organ systems and their interaction as related to the human organism. This course is taken in conjunction with Forensic Science.

Forensic Science (one semester)
Students focus on biological, chemical, and physical science methods applied to the evaluation of physical evidence related to matters of civil and criminal law. This course is taken in conjunction with Anatomy/Physiology.
